Valcourt, Québec, February 1, 2010 – In 2010, BRP’s Can-Am ATV racers will be out in force competing on race tracks across North America.
BRP Racer Podiums Can-Am DS 450 At WORCS Opener
Valcourt, Québec, January 26, 2010 – With rain inundating the desert southwest for most of the leading days to the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) opening round at Speedworld MX Park near Phoenix, AZ; it appeared the race would be a muddy mess. However, the rain stopped just in time to limit the mud and actually enhanced the race course. In the end, Team Motoworks / Can-Am DS 450™ EFI ATV racer Josh Frederick was able to finish second in the pro class, while his teammate, Dillon Zimmerman finished fifth in the class.
BRP is pleased to announce the roster of Team Warnert Racing / Can-Am, which will compete during the 2010 Grand National Cross Country race series. Team Warnert Racing / Can-Am looks to build upon a successful 2009 GNCC season that saw four GNCC championships, including a perfect season (13 races, 13 wins) in the 4x4 Limited class. Race-prepped Can-Am Outlander™ 800R EFI XT™, Can-Am Renegade® 800R EFI X™ xc and Can-Am DS 450™ EFI ATVs will race out of the Warnert Racing hauler next season at all 13 stops of the GNCC series.
With a sweep during last weekend's DWT World MX Racing Championship doubleheader at Glen Helen Raceway near San Bernardino, CA, Team Motoworks / Can-Am is now in the commanding spot atop the Pro-class points championship. Motoworks racer, Chad Wienen, was unstoppable on his Can-Am DS 450™. The racer took both Pro motos in round three for the overall, and repeated his performance in round four.
Can-Am Takes First Round of DWT World MX Racing Championship
Team Motoworks / Can-AmTM racer Chad Wienen look impressive on his Can-Am DS 450TM EFI ATV this weekend taking the overall win at opening round of the DWT World MX Racing Championship near Mesquite, AZ. He easily cruised to victories, going 1-1 for the overall. His teammate, Jeremie Warnia, went 3-2 for second overall. Motoworks rider Dillon Zimmerman made his Pro-class debut and finished seventh overall with 8-8 moto finishes on his DS 450.
Can-Am ATV racers and teams took home multiple championships and wins in the 2009 ATV racing season. In all, Can-Am factory-supported racers took home seven regional and national championships across North America, while members of the Can-Am X-Team and DS 450 Racer Support Program took home an additional 14 (and counting) championships!

Team Motoworks / Can-Am took three of the top four spots in the Pro Class aboard the Can-Am DS 450™ EFI ATV at the final round of the 2009 World Off-Road Championship Series held outside Mesquite, Nevada this past weekend.
