- Rotax 400 EFI Engine rotax800
  - Thanks to a SOHC, 4 valves and EFI, this single cylinder engine has best-in-class power.
- TTI Independent rear suspension TTIrear-susp
  - With TTI, the pivot points are ahead of the wheels, the rear wheels pivot up and down, keeping the tread on the ground to improve traction and handling. Since TTI only moves up and down (see B) and never side-to-side like a traditional suspension (see A), the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it.
- Visco-Lok† 4x4 Front Differential visco-lok
  - Redesigned in 2008 for quicker engagement, the Visco-Lok† constantly monitors front wheel speed and, if it detects one wheel spinning faster than its mate, it progressively sends more power to the wheel with the better traction. And it does it all without the rider having to lift a finger.
